Just a quick email to see how your Cheltenham Festival 2016 is shaping up and to share my thoughts on the next couple of days, including how to get 10/1 on Thistlecrack to place in the World Hurdle
I was down at Cheltenham for Day 1 and we could not have had a better start with my bet in the Supreme Novices Hurdle Altior at 4/1 landing nicely and setting us on our way. I had also put up The New One who let us down a bit behind Annie Power and Ballychorus who was an outsider I really fancied as an each way bet. So we ended Day 1 on a small profit. Then today I felt we had a really strong hand with Yanworth, No More Heroes and Sprinter Sacre. Although Yanworth and No More Heroes were turned over we landed a huge bet on Sprinter Sacre who put Un De Sceaux to the sword and meant that we finished Day 2 on +13pts profit at the halfway point.
I have just finished my race preview for Day 3 on our Cheltenham site here – Cheltenham Racecourse Tips – Day 3 Preview

Day 3 – World Hurdle Day
I always find the Thursday of the Festival the hardest day to make pay, although we backed Cole Harden last year at 14/1 which made it a very profitable day.
I think Vautour moving from the Gold Cup to the Ryanair Chase has destroyed the market and I will not be getting involved, although I do hope that Al Ferof runs a big race against the favourite as he looks too big a price at 14/1 and may be worth an each way bet. I will be having a good bet in the JLT, the World Hurdle and the Mares’ Novice Hurdle tomorrow, where I am happy to take on the Mullins mare Limini with a horse I saw run a cracking race recently and I feel has a great chance at a decent price.
Let me know how your Festival is going, what the high and the low points have been and don’t forget to grab that offer of 10/1 on Thistlecrack to place in the World Hurdle
Have a great Day 3 and I will share with you my thoughts for the Gold Cup on Friday.
