Who is Racing Profits?
My name is Richard and my passion is helping people to make their betting pay through developing profitable betting strategies.
I have been involved in horse racing for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Yorkshire and my Dad would take me racing to Wetherby, Doncaster, York, Catterick, Pontefract, Thirsk and to the open days at Malton and Middleham, which gave me a deep love of the sport.
At University I shared my house with a bookmaker’s son called Andy and he shared with me how to read form, price up race cards and how pro gamblers would track horses and mange their betting. Any spare time I had would be spent travelling to the dogs and horse racing with Andy and his Dad.
In 1996 I started betting full-time on course, and then as the exchanges were established online in 2002, I moved into laying horses and trading on the betting exchanges to make a full-time income.
I set up Racing Profits in 2009 to share what I have learned over the years and help other people stop losing money and start to make money from their betting.
