Well as I promised a few weeks ago, the jumps season is a great time for profits and this year is no exception, with last Tuesday starting a terrific run for my Racing Profits Email Selection Service Subscribers.
We had two selections last Tuesday in Apasionado at Huntingdon put up at 3/1 and Theatre Bar at Sedgfield put up at 2/1 and both landed nicely for us for a superb day of profits. We went so close to landing a monster gamble the following day with just one bet on Tornado In Milan at Bangor at a huge 20/1, only for him to come 2nd. We then went into the Cheltenham Open with bets on Friday and Saturday including a disappointing Barters Hill, a nice each way return on Wholestone and a small interest in Frodon in the Gold Cup, only to see him make a mess of the 4th last when going really well and looking to get involved in the finish. However we soon bounced back with one bet yesterday on Citrus at Plumpton at 5/1, winning nicely for us. We have a nice weekend ahead with the Betfair Chase at Haydock coming up.
Sprinter Sacre Retired
It was a sad weekend for Seven Barrows and Nicky Henderson with the announcement that Sprinter Sacre had to be retired due to an injury and then followed by Simonsig, one of my favourite horses suffering a fatal injury at Cheltenham. Racing has gone through a horrendous few weeks after Freddie Tylicki and a number of key horses being lost to injury, all highlighting the danger of the sport we love and the risks taken on a daily basis.
Haydock – Betfair Chase Weekend
I will be doing a race analysis for you for this Saturday’s Betfair Chase which sees the likes of Coneygree, Cue Card, Irish Cavalier and Silviniaco Conti all clashing. So make sure you look out for my email on Friday evening.
Enjoy the rest of your week and if you want to get involved with the Email Service then I currently have a couple of spots remaining, so head over to Racing Profits Email Selection Service and I look forward to working with you.
Have a good week and talk on Friday.
