Morning all,
I just wanted to personally thank Alan McCabe and all the staff at Averham Park for the warm welcome they gave me yesterday and the time Alan spent showing me around the stable and the fantastic facilities they have.
As Alan was so proud to point out, he feels the facilities are as good as any down at Newmarket and with the results behind him to prove it who can argue. He is quickly becoming one of the UK’s leading trainers and when you spend time with him you can see why.
Originally from Navan in Ireland, Alan was a successful National Hunt Jumps Jockey and has worked with trainers such as David Elsworth for 12 years and Godolphin for 5 years. When you walk around Averahm with him you can feel the pride in his work and the care the team give to all the horses is great to see.
All this hard work and care to detail was repaid when Caspar Netscher won the German 2000 Guineas in Cologne on Monday 28th May 2012.
On the tour we caught up with Caspar and he looked as calm as you like, was being pampered and cared for aswell as any top sportsman after such a victory.
I am seriously thinking about setting up a Racing Profits Syndicate for 2013 and I know what trainer I will want training my horse.
If anyone wants any further details then you can get in touch with Alan / Marie and the team at Averham Park here >>>> Alan McCabe Racing
Thanks to everyone – see you soon.
