Aintree Selection – Thursday 8th April

Just the one selection for Aintree Thursday – thought I’d put it up now.

4.55 – Novices Chase – Mad Max – Another of Nicky Hendersons favourite horses – he ran really well at Cheltenham and was up with the leaders before blundering badly – was still full of running and the step up to 2m 4f  looks ideal. The ground will be spot on for him too. I spoke to the yard yesterday and they are expecting another big run. Having beaten the Nightingale before – Somersby looks the biggest danger –  3 pts to Win – grab the 5/1.
