9.02.10 – The great selections continue !!

Well today continued where we left off yesterday –

All 3 back selections went on to win their races today.

1.30  Market Rasen – Open Day – 1pts e/w at 7/1 – WON

2.00 Market Rasen – Ranjobaie – 2pts e/w at 3/1 – WON

2:40 Sedgfield – Benny Be Good – 2pts e/w at 3/1 – WON

And the icing on the cake was a 1pt e/w treble. We hit the bookies hard today.

I was actually at the Market Rasen meeting today as it is only 30 mins from my home.

The Lays played out well too:

2:10 Sedgfield – Caheerloch – pulled up – after drifting noticibly in the market.

3.00 Market Rasen – Vivarini – again went for a walk in the last 15 mins prior to racetime – came 2nd.

4.00 Market Rasen – Pristine Condition was an interesting selection as it drifted out from the early price of 4.0 that I put up but as I have said before the market speaks volumes in the last 15 minutes when the horses come out into Tattersalls – pre-race. The odds shortened from 5.3 down to 4.4 as strong money came in for Pristine Condition. The market confidence in the end lead me to back the horse instead of laying it. Which proved to be a good decision in such a tight race.

So a fantastic day and the past two days have set February up to be another cracking month.
