+7 pts Profit again today from our selections !!

Evening all,

Well for all of you who sent me emails tonight I thank you. Yes I was happy with this weeks selections giving us a total of +20 pts profit for the week. All these small weeks add up over the season and the year and when you consider we only had two of our back bets come in when I would usually expect 4 /5 winners per week, it was a good result.

Today nearly started so well with Conquisto – 1 pt each way at 6/1 actually drifted out to 7/1 but ran the race we expected, coming up and leading towards the end and what a battle all the way to the line, eventually coming 2nd. So a small +1pt profit form the place bet, but could easily have been +8pts !!!

Then Dingbat in the 2.45 at Newbury ran a shocker – no excuses for him really – expected far better as did the yard – I know they were very disappointed in his run but think he is one to watch in handicaps. – 2pts

Then our big bet of the day – 4:30 at Newbury – Maraafaq – 4 pts to win – not as easy as his win on Sunday but just as I predicted he handled the extra 7llbs with ease and went on to win, as I said – a canny yard to get him out so soon after his last win. +7pts.

And finally our only lay bet of the day at Lingfield in the 5:15 – had drifted all day and I layed him a minute before the race went off – then for some strange reason his odds shortened considerably. He did what I expected had a run at the leaders and then faded in the final couple of furlongs. +1 pt profit.

All in all a good day.

See you all next week – have a great weekend.
