Well the great week continues with +20 pts profits yesterday for the Selection Line.

We advised 4 selections:

2:20 Ayr – Extra Power – 9/2 – 2nd place.

2:30 Wolverhampton – Black Moth – 9/4 – 3rd Place

6:25 Newcastle – Silca Conegliano – 2/1 – 2nd Place

7:35 Newcastle – Akinoshirabe – 7/1 – 1st place

BUT to cap it all – I also advised a 1 pt e/w Yankee on all 4 horses which was landed as all placed. My first Yankee of the year.

This week is now showing over 50 pts profit.

Well the great form continues from Monday with 2 selections yesterday – another winner in Marlinka in 2.30 at Ffos Las and a nice each way bet in Night Singer at 6/1 coming in 3rd for us – landing a nice e/w double too.

Well I only hope you took my advise today and called the Selection Line.

I advised the following bets:-

2:15 Carlisle – Button Moon – 5/2 – 2pts each way – stormed into the lead and then was just picked up in the final furlong by the winner Marine Commando – nice 2nd place to start off. Broke even bet.

5:00 Leicester – Sheer Courage – 3/1 – 2pts each way – stepped up in trip today and was easy to back but blasted into the lead and never looked back – won easily. +7 pts

6:10 Windsor – Scarlet Rocks – 7/2 – 2pts each way – not the most straight forward ride today but she stuck well to it to win in the end. +6 pts.

I also advised a 1pt each way treble on all three which also paid out – giving a further +6 pts profit.

So a nice +22 pts profit on the day. All selections are still up on the line.

Well no sooner do I say we are getting back to form than Premier Clarets wins for us at Haydock in the 2:20 – advised on the Selection Line as 2pts each way at 7/2 – earned a further +9 pts profit.

Well Balnagore did the business for us in the 4:30 at Kelso yesterday – nice win at 3/1 – advised on the line as a 2pt each way bet – giving a nice 7.5 pt profit.

We are starting to see the results settle down for May after the usual ups and downs at the start of the flat season.

Two more solid back bets up today on the line.

Morning all – the telephone service is down for a couple of days – I apologise for the inconvenience and am working hard to ensure everything is back up and running for tomorrow – Tuesday 18th May.

Well April was a strange month – with the disruption of my holiday to Portugal and then being delayed by the Volcan ash cloud for a further week we only ended up betting on 12 days in the month.

We had a great start to the month with Bescott springs and Pipette winning on consecutive days for us, then we had some near misses before Illustriouos Prince at Lingfield and then Mad Max won for us at Aintree. Menorah just came 2nd – grabbed on the line and then my national “fun bets” came in with Don’t Push It at 25/1 and Black Apalachi 19/1 coming 1st and 2nd – although these were only put up on our Facebook site and not the main selection line as I do regard the National as a total gamble – so these were my fun selections only – still made me a nice return of over £1700 though.

Then all the disruptions started – a lovely week in Vlilamoura turned into a bit of a mess as out flights were cancelled and we ended up driving back from Portugal to catch a ferry at St Malo home. So normal service really did not resume until the 23rd April. Where we had a couple of each way bets come in 2nd. On the Monday 26th – Bebopalula did the business winning nicely at Windsor for us. Then we had a frustrating week of nearlys until a promising 2nd from the Count Of Anjou at Lingfield gave us a small retunr on the last day of the month.

You get months like this – it’s just one of those things with racing and life – still to go through all that and still show a +45 pt profit is a major plus. Morning All,

3 selections for you today.

1:50 Salisbury – Dungannon – great draw in stall 14 – a yard in great form and despite greeness early on really flew in his first race last year. I’m going 2pts each way. 10 / 3 available from Paddypower.

4:05 Salisbury – Ashbrittle – stepped up in trip after a promising first race a Nottingham in November, again green to start with but made nice progress towards the end of the race. I’m going 2 pts each way – 6/1 from Paddpower.

I’m also going to be placing a 1pt each way double on Dungannon and Ashbrittle.

3:20 Newmarket – 1000 guineas - Now the rain has come down here it has changed the going to good to soft – my original selection was Pollenator but she does need fast ground. So now the stand out for me looks to be Marcus Tregoning’s horse – Rumoush who has won here last month on similar ground. I just don’t think that Special Duty will get the trip. So I’m going 2pts e/w on Rumoush at 7/1.
